Theo BS. Dũng, năm 2018, TP.HCM có 64.910 trẻ cần được tiêm vắcxin phòng 5 bệnh Bạch hầu - Ho gà - Uốn ván - viêm gan b và Viêm màng não mủ do Hib. Tuy nhiên, chỉ có 7.322 trẻ được tiêm đủ 3 mũi vắcxin ComBe Five. Còn 6 tháng đầu năm 2019, thành phố có 17.710 trẻ cần tiêm vắcxin 5 trong 1 và 2.005 trẻ được tiêm đủ 3 mũi vắcxin này. Trong số đó, khoảng 4,9% trẻ có phản ứng sau tiêm, chủ yếu các phản ứng nhẹ như sốt, quấy khóc, sưng chỗ tiêm… BS. Dũng cho biết các phản ứng sau tiêm chủng đã được các trạm y tế phản ứng nhanh, xử trí đúng, kịp thời theo phác đồ hướng dẫn. Trước đó, trong tháng 1/2019, thực hiện chỉ đạo của Sở Y tế TP.HCM, Trung tâm Y tế Dự phòng TP.HCM đã phối hợp với BV. Nhi đồng 1 tổ chức 10 lớp tập huấn về "Khám, sàng lọc và theo dõi sau tiêm chủng" cho hơn 800 nhân viên y tế thực hiện tiêm chủng mở rộng tại tất cả các trạm y tế, phường xã, trung tâm y tế quận, huyện. Vắcxin giúp cơ thể trẻ làm quen với các tác nhân gây bệnh, tăng cường hệ miễn dịch. Ảnh minh họa. Sau đó, Sở Y tế TP.HCM cũng đã ban hành các quy định tăng cường công tác tiêm chủng an toàn và hiệu quả, chỉ đạo các cơ sở tiêm chủng tuân thủ nghiêm túc các quy định về an toàn tiêm chủng. Đặc biệt, cấp quản lý nhấn mạnh các cơ sở tiêm chủng phải hướng dẫn cha, mẹ hoặc người nuôi dưỡng trẻ cách theo dõi, chăm sóc trẻ sau tiêm chủng. Đồng thời yêu cầu các cơ sở tiêm chủng phối hợp với các bệnh viện gần nhất để sẵn sàng tiếp nhận, cấp cứu các trường hợp phản ứng nặng sau tiêm chủng. Theo BS Trương Hữu Khanh, Trưởng khoa Nhiễm, BV Nhi Đồng 1, sau khi chào đời và lớn lên, trẻ sẽ đối mặt với vi trùng, những tác nhân gây bệnh, một trong những nguyên nhân chính gây tử vong ở trẻ. Để trẻ có thể đề kháng trước những tác nhân gây bệnh cần phải giúp cơ thể tập luyện, thấy được tác nhân gây bệnh từ đó hình thành phản ứng chống lại. Ngay từ khi trẻ vừa chào đời đã phải tiêm hai mũi vắcxin ngừa viêm gan B và lao. Các nhà khoa học đã chế ra vắcxin từ những sinh vật bất hoạt (tức là không còn hoạt động - vô bào) hoặc còn sống (nguyên bào) nhưng đã bị làm yếu đi không thể gây bệnh, chủ động đưa vào cơ thể trẻ. Qua đó giúp cơ thể đặc biệt là hệ thống tế bào tạo ra những kháng thể trong quá trình sống. Nguyên tắc của quá trình tập luyện là phải mệt. Do đó, phản ứng bất lợi cơ thể gặp phải khi chích ngừa vắcxin là chuyện khó thể tránh khỏi. BS. Trương Hữu Khanh cho biết, phản ứng sau tiêm được chia thành 4 cấp độ khác nhau: Cấp độ I: trẻ bị nổi mề đay sau đó lan dần đến nhiều vùng trên cơ thể, có thể phù miệng hoặc không; Cấp độ II: trẻ bị nổi mề đay toàn thân, mạch nhanh hơn, có biểu hiện lừ đừ; Cấp độ III, trẻ bị tím tái, khó thở, co giật, lơ mơ; Cấp độ IV, trẻ bị ngưng tim, ngưng thở. Hầu hết bệnh nhi sau tiêm chủng gặp phản ứng nhẹ tức là phản ứng thông thường sau tiêm, các mức độ phản ứng nặng dẫn tới sốc phản vệ do yếu tố cơ địa hiếm khi xảy ra. Nguồn của
